The B1 game developed within sessions Regional tournaments and record entries to the nationals in London.

It was obligatory to wear paralympic googles

Shorter narrower service box 6.1 x 12.8. The service line is 1.8m from base line.  tactile lines marking base, middle and end lines on the aim court over a lowered net (80cm). Returns were a regular occurrence, as players became more confident to move around the court

Guided by the Advisory Committee the Tennis Foundation published a concise guide to V I tennis.  This would later be joined by an International set of rules from IBTA.

At the beginning of 2016 rumours circulated about a International Tournament.

Vision 4 Growth recorded record entries for their annual tournament,

Sessions were now offered on Sundays as well as Tuesdays.

Vision 4 Growth produced T shirts for players

A friendly between Cambridge and Ipswich took place,

As well as weekly sessions weekend sessions were trailed.

A jingle Balls tournament was arranged at the end of December.

A number of sessions were delivered at the end of this period after Christmas.  The players and Trustees decided after consultation to deliver separate sessions in the future for B1 and B2-B5 players.
