From 16 January 2018, we will be offering a new V I tennis programme for blind and partially sighted people.

Kindly supported by a large grant from Peoples Health Trust,  Cambridge City Council and Cambridgeshire Community Foundation this project will run for the next year.


Day: Tuesdays all details are confirmed on our calendar

Time: 11.30am-1.30pm

Location: Hills Road Sports and Tennis Centre, Purbeck Road, Cambridge CB2 8PF

Head Coach: Alex Wheen

Cost: £5


All equipment is supplied

All levels of sight-loss and abilities welcome


If you have once played tennis or starting for the first time since sight-loss this new form of tennis provides a social and healthy opportunity for everyone.

Vision 4 Growth has been running sessions in Hills Road for over 5 years. Head Coach Alex Wheen is amongst only a handful of Level 2 V I Tennis Specialist Coach’s teaching in the UK.
