This week we ask how easy is it to join mainstream sports facilities
and clubs, if you have a disability. Pure Gym, a gym chain which
participated in a RNIB campaign to increase gym access, look back at
how far they have implemented change since this project. We are joined
by Dan Powell, Paralympian and CEO of Ability Training, who
specialises in training up personal trainers to work with
visually-impaired gym-goers, students like Andy. Our second case study
comes from Selwyn College Boat Club, Cambridge University, and it
explores the trials and tribulations of introducing a blind rower to
this historic training circuit.
