You’ve probably heard of gardens that look good, but did you know
gardens could make you feel good? This week we catch up with Thrive, a
leading charity using gardening to help people improve their sense of
mental and physical wellbeing. As health experts prescribe gardening
to more and more people, we ask Niki Preston / ‘the Two-fingered
Gardener’ how to make gardening accessible for everyone. While on air,
we start a Twitter dialogue, ending with Mark Lane, gardening expert
and BBC presenter, calling on his followers to support him to “design
the first accessible garden at the Chelsea Flower Show”. Watch this
space for our progress!
