First International Blind Tennis Tournament

The world’s first international blind tennis tournament will be held in May 2017.  Countries across the world will come together to engage in a week’s blind tennis.  B1 to B3 sight categories are represented by players from across the UK.  The Tennis Foundation are kindly supporting the cost of this exciting event …

The IBTA (International Blind Tennis Association) are hosting the first blind tennis tournament in Spain, May 2017.  This brings together countries from across the globe who are enjoying this new form of disability tennis.  The GB representative Amanda Green has worked with other countries and the National V I Tennis Advisory Committee to promote this new opportunity.  6 blind and partially sighted people have been selected to represent Team GB including our Cambridge champ Nikhill Nair, representing B1 male.  The Tennis Foundation had a clear selection process based on national successes.
