Cuffley library project

Vision 4 Growth was invited by Hertfordshire Libraries Hertfordshire Libraries – Hertfordshire County Council to demonstrate this at Cuffley Library.

Presently, residents in Hertfordshire have free access to a service called overdrive.  This is the same service the RNIB are charging people to access.

As well as this new service, Hertfordshire libraries offer books in different formats such as:

  • large print
  • cassette tapes
  • CDs
  • home delivery – a limited delivery service is available pre-ordered list of book to a persons house
  • oblige libraries contain a limited supply

For more information on any of these services, please contact your local library or Hertfordshire Libraries. There is also a service to deliver these books to people who are unable to visit the libraries.

A report was compiled and sent to Hertfordshire County Council.
